Here is The yarn that I have for My Olympian Sweater....
I have 9 skeins of this Lovely Sirdar Cotton Yarn which I have been saving " hoarding" for a few years... I FINALLY decided WHAT to make with it.....

After several attempts at starting two other sweater choices last night.. I decided on the Plain Classic cardi for Myself... Yippee... I am knitting something for me.... :)
As you can see I did not get very far yet..
First ... I did not realize that yesterday was the 10th until last night ... " I never seem to know what day it is " except for Sunday.. when I go to Church :)
Well Anyway.. I'll have to knit faster so I can catch up...

How is everyone else doing ?

And there goes those flying fingers again! LOL

I like the project you chose for the Knitting Olympics!

It is about time for you to knit something for YOURSELF! ;)

I also started late yesterday... but I am knitting with # 10 1/2 US needles so it goes pretty quick... except that knitting Mohair is really slowing me down...

For more details, see in my Blog

I am going to post every day about my progression but I am afraid my project is going to be over before the end of the Olympics...

I might have to make 2 shrugs! LOL

I agree...it's about time you made something for yourself! That is a classic pattern and will be a very nice all-year sweater...well, it would where I live. :)

I'm doing the Unfinished Olympics and working on the Picovolic tank top by Grumperina. I hope I finish it! I'm sooooo slow. Maybe I'll have to send it to you, Penny, when you whip out that sweater of yours. ;)
