Asian Inspired Sweater

This is A Sweater Set that I just finished for a Special Little Baby Girl who is coming to us from China :)
My Daughter ..April.. is anxiously waiting for the adoption of a Baby ...
She has completed all the extensive paper work, tests, interviews, etc.... and is now waiting
for her Little Baby Girl....
As you can guess we are all very excited !!!
I am especially thrilled and honored to have her as my namesake !!!
Her Name will be
" Penny"..
Yes.. Yes... I am sooooooooooooo Happy !!! :)

Honering the tradition of China this set is knit in red, symbolizing Happiness and Good Fortune....
The Chinese Symbols "Xi" ( JOY) and "Shou" (Longevity) are knit into the hem, reflecting a Double Blessing...

Please join us in Praying that Penny will be here soon !!!

Yes, that sweater is just... wow :) And I too would love a copy of the pattern if at all possible. Is it machine knit? If so, is there a hand knit pattern version available?

Best wishes to you and yours! I'm sure your new granddaughter will love your creation!
