This is part The Jones Beach Boardwalk .. There's Bob... "Hi" Bob :)....I don't know the length of the boardwalk but I should make a note to find that out.. I know that they have the miles written at points and it is a popular place for jogging and walking... Today we walked past the 7 mile mark but we only walked about a mile or so of the boardwalk...we got Lazy!!!

Wow, that is gorgeous. I haven't been to Jones Beach in many, many years. How beautiful.
The boardwalk is no where near 7 miles long, lol. I think it's 2 or 2.5 miles at the most. Someone must have been messing with the signs, or maybe there was more than lemonade in your cooler!
Beautiful pictures, I love the beach. I was lucky and I got to spend a week in Florida this year.
I grew up in Wantagh and Jones Beach was our play ground. I was just thinking about it the other day because I passed an aromatic plant, perhaps honeysuckle, and it reminded me of the plant aromas you would encounter as you walked from the parking lot past the bath house to the beach. Do they still plant all the petunias along the walkways?
