All Six of My Grandchildren together in one picture!!!
This was during Thanksgiving when My Daughter April, Hubby John and Samantha went to her Sister Terrys in Buffalo...

Finally finished and mailed off the last of the Five hats and Six scarves for My Grandchildren in Buffalo!!! :)

Two more scarves..... This one is a Quick and Easy Homespun Scarf....


This is a Fancy Fur Hat and Scarf for My Grandaughter "Paige"... I can't wait to see a picture of her with them on :)..*hint*..*hint*... Maybe My Daughter will send me some pictures....

If you get the Florida Local News then you are aware of the Red Tide that we have been having for almost two months already...This is toxic blossoms which are in the water at this time... Most days it lets off a real toxic breeze and prevents us on the beach from being outdoors.. You just constantly cough and sneeze and get tired.....after so long a time it hurts your chest and throat... Its just awful and of course the beaches are pretty empty...
Some days if the wind blows from the West we are able to go out with very little problem...Which we all pray for daily!!
This morning we were able to go out for a bit but later the air was full again..
While at the beach I took these photos... Along the shore line and high tide line there are dead fish and eels as far as you can see looking in both directions.. What a sad site it is!!!!
The fish eat the blossoms and it then kills them and they wash ashore.. What a mess and what a stink !!!
I have written to the local news and conservationists in hopes that this can be researched further...
Is it all from the "Red Tide" or could it also be from all the dredging that is going on off shore near the Beach and channel????
Whatever the cause is we are praying for and end to it...

This is The Beginning of The Swallowtail Shawl from Interweave Knits 2006.. I am working on it in between other projects that must be done Yesterday!!!
This is my First Real Lacy Big Project!!!
The yarn is Katia Austral that I bought about 4 years ago.. Yippee.. More stash finally being used :)

I made this hat yesterday for My Grandaughter Natalie who is 7 years old.....
The pattern is from Garnstudio free pattern site and it was listed under the Childrens Patterns...
I used a soft Bernart Worsted Yarn that I bought at Smileys about 2 years ago... See.. I am trying to use My Evergrowing Stash... Actually I have been pretty good here while in Florida.. I only bought some necessary colors that I needed for a project !!! Hummmmm... Am I being GOOD or is it because there is only one *expensive* yarn shop around here... :)
















I also carried along a very lightweight pink yarn with the worsted... Thats why it has a "tweedy" sort of look to it !!!

This is a Hedwig *Harry Potter* Illusion Scarf...
I used Vannas Choice Yarn for it.. One skein of each color..

You can't see the Owl unless you look Down on the scarf... I made it from a cloth pattern on line and then I did the Hedwig cloth pattern upside down on the other end so it would be the same .. It came out really cute.. I think My Niece Allie who is 12 years old will like it :) She is a BIG H.P. Fan !!!!

Another Scarf is Finished...This one was a Quickie...... Knitted it in one night with Lion Brand Boucle Yarn.. It worked up Fast and Soft!!!! Gotta love it !!!!

She just started going in this and MaMa says she loves it!!! She playes there and talks to the dogs and cats and her toys!!! You can see the dog Leia there .. April says they love each other :)

Bob was taking a swim in the pool this morning and I was "playing" with My Camera....



See Little Lizzie here... It was not easy getting her to pose for me :)

Becareful when walking on the sand here in Cocoa Beach... Stay out of the dunes... There are alligators crawling around... Who would have thought they would be near the Ocean ???

These Alligators were made using Carons Simply Soft in a Dark Sage green...The Pattern is from Morehouse Farms....
I put some yellow buttons in the holes for the eyes!!!
Pretty Neat Scarf, Huh ???
