I made this with a Fingeringweight yarn so it is really nice and light for her...
Last night I started a top in a light DK weight yarn and it seemed like I was knitting with worsted weight and big needles (they were a 6)..After working on fingering and size 2 needles it is so awkward to work with even a DK weight...But I'm sure it will go faster than the fingering...
I think now is the time to make something with that laceweight yarn I have so it won't seem much thinner than the fingering.. Only thing is I can't think of what to make with it.. I wanted to something like a laceweight little baby dress but I can't come up with anything just yet.. Guess I am just going to have to make up my own design for it!!!

Really cute Penny. Lucky little baby. Bonnie
So delicate. I love working with tiny yarn and tiny needles but I haven't tried any lace weight yet.
Beautiful job.

What a beautiful little top! No surprise though, all the thing you make are gorgeous. Can't wait to see what you do with the lace weight.
