I whipped up two little Baby Hats last night.. Am I ever going to finish this yarn :)
I think I will do a few washcloths with some of whats left but first I have to get started on a Gift for Little Isabella .. My GrandNiece!!! :)

Last Night I made some Booties to match the sweaters....
Now I STILL have more leftover yarn...
This yarn really did go much further than I had estimated... :)

And THEN.....................With some of the Leftover Yarns I made a Cute Little Cuddly Blankie for Baby to HUG !!!!!!!
I just made the Blankie up as I went along... I casted on 27 stitches and did a garter stitch border of 5 stitches..
So start your square with five garter rows..
At the top end of the square I joined the second yarn and made the same square..
Then I did another set of two squares togetner and whipped stitched the two panels together..
Very Simple and Very Mindless as My Friend Barbara said !!!
I am Very Good at Simple & Mindless Things !!! LOL
Mine came out to be about 19 X 19.. Just Perfect for Hugging and for a little car seat cover!

WOW !!!! Is all I can say!!! After Reading and reading and reading so many... my eyes started filling up with tears !!! Gosh !!!! You are all so nice to come to my aid and get me over these exceptionally nasty comments........... People can Think what they want and have different opinions but I do not think it is necessary to be so openly cruel... But such is life I guess and I just started thinking to myself... " How hard it must be to live with these kind of people".. I sure am glad that none of us have to ...
I will be deleting those comments soon but I just wanted to take time to Thank You All for rallying around me....

Last Night I finished My Little Sweater and I am very pleased with the finished product!!!
How nice it is to have such a soft yarn knitted up into this Baby Sweater with no Lumpy seams... It makes for A Very Cozy Comfort !!

This is A Sweater that I started last night in Blue Sky Organic Cotton in the color Nut... Its such a pretty color.
I am really happy about this sweater because I am doing it in one piece... I find that especially when using cotton it is nicer to make a sweater that is as seamless as you can ..The cotton seams just feel a bit too "bulky" to me... So this sweater should be as Soft As Butter !!

Ok...So I have been back in NY for a week now and the urge was just too much... I had to take a trip to the yarn store to see whats going on there, right?
I had to get a skein of "Baby" in the minty green to finish the sweater I made in Florida which is still missing the second sleeve...
I forgot to put that skein in the photo...
Anyway I got two skeins of it in a pretty peachy coloralso... which you can see here.. It has over 300 yards in each skein and the yarn is sooooooooooo Soft and nice!!! And the store had 30% off of everything that was not on sale.. So Thats A Good Thing!!!!

I got the Sirdar Baby Care (blue) amd the Sirdar Domino(pink) also there for 2.79 each!!!

Then I moseyed on down to Joanns because I HAD to use a 50% off coupon ...( what a great reason to go shopping, huh? )
I got that nice sagy green Big Skein with the coupon and I also bought some Bernart Satin (Pale yellow).. Oh And the Bernart Baby Yarn in the pale pink and pale blue and white is from my first stop at Walmart....
So now for Knitting With Your Stash!!! Well... Now I have more Stash to knit from..
I actually drove right past two OTHER yarn shops without stopping so thats Pretty Darn Good for me!!!
Maybe that was because Bob was with me....LOL

MY Friend Lisa.. Who is on The Babysweaters Group... was Tagged by me and I forgot that she did not have a Blog.. So she emailed me her answer and I just had to post it here... LOL

1) People who know me are always shocked when I'm at a loss for words.
2)I can make "Fart Sounds" with my two hands together. That's talent.And the result of not being able to do the armpit ones my brothers did.
3) I'm the only one people know who can have a one-sided conversationwith an answering machine. ( I see a theme here, hey!)
4) I won a "Name the stuffed Chicken" contest on a five minute cultureappreciation program that was on every morning during the week( Let'shear it for "Heritage Corner"!). I sent in a list of ten names and Igot picked. I was supposed to go to the studio to pick up my chickenbut never did. My grandmother told me I was the "wrong color" anddidn't belong there. Hmph... I never got over that.
5) When I was a teenager I was told I looked like Patti Hearst, AmyIrving and the lead singer to REO Speedwagon( who happens to be a man,thanks alot, Nick!)
6)Although I am such a girly girl, people are amazed I will get in onany game of Volleyball and give a good whoopin to anyone out there onthe opposing team.
7) Now I'm told I look like Michele Pfeiffer or the blonde in "ColdCase"( I think that's cuz she looks like she's always crying and isquite the pastey face like me), or Marge Helgeberger( yeah, um, I'dlove to have that body though). I think these people who tell me thisall have eye problems.
8) I can count to 30 in German and do the alphabet in sign languagewith both hands simultaneously.

Crossing from South Carolina to North Carolina we are almost Halfway Back to NY !!!!

Now we are Back on Long Island ... all cleaned up..unpacked...
So Now Its Knitting Time Again!!!

Whew.. I've been so busy getting settled in that I haven't knitted it four days... I think I am having withdrawals!!!!

I was going to finish this Blanket on My Road Trip to New York but because of our delay here I finished it today...
I made this using Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece that I had in different colors....
Its nice and soft.... Maybe I'll make a sweater with the leftovers !!!

I finished The Quilt !!! There are lots of "puffs" or whatever and for you Experienced quilters it is not "perfect" BUT I love it and I am very pleased with how it turned out and I KNOW that "Penny" will LOVE the Quilt that her Grandma.... ( PoPo.... Thats Chinese for Grandma ).... made for her :)

While working on My Quilt this week I also made this Little Milan Sweater...
The pattern is from The Book Natural Knits for Babies and Moms.....
I used a Caron Yarn that changes the shades of color. I tried to get the sleeves to sort of change in about the same places so they would matching. One sleeve looks wider than the other in the photo but its not... I guess its just the way I shaped it when I "posed" it for the picture :)
The yarn is really so Soft!!! I LOVE soft !!!

Here is The Progress on My Quilt !!!! What you see here are TONS of pins holding the three layers together... I used EVERY pin in The House !!!!... Now You can't see on here but I drew on hearts all over the place which I will be quilting....
This is the First Embroidery and First Quilting I have done so I am really trying hard to make it work out.... :)
I bought the Fabrics at The Quilt Place an then ironed on some Girls to embroider..
Did the Embroidery..
Then sewed on some Borders..
Then layered the batting and fabrics....
Then pinned it ALL over..
And NOW comes the challenge ... Quilting :)

I showed you yesterday a photo of the yarn My Daughter sent me...
Well.... Last week I bought the pile of yarn in the Front Right Photo... My Daughters is on the left....... Now..It looks to me like we have similar tastes in yarn choices...LOL.. I thought this was pretty funny when I realized it....

Today I received this WONDERFUL YARN that My Daughter April ordered from http://fabulousyarn.com/
The Yarn is from Blue Sky Alpaca and it is Organic Cotton... It feels soooooooo SOFT and I just can't wait to start a Baby Sweater... I am starting with the Yoda Sweater that April likes.. Its a Baby Wrap... Yes !!! She is VERY fond of Wraps!!!!
I'm hoping to have enough leftovers to make a "Little" Blankie!!!!

This Little Wrap Sweater is done in a really nice yarn that I got from April .. she picked my name out of a hat and sent me two skeins of Louet Gems.. 100% washable merino wool.. Its a lovely soft sweater... Thank You April !!!!!
The pattern is from an old knit book that I have and if I do another one of these there are alot of changes I would make to do it a little easier.. I would do the front & back in one piece mainly just to eliminate sewing.. and this one had the buttonbands done seperately which I would "knit on" in the next one.. But all in all.. I LOVE the Little Sweater.. :)

This Blanket is made for " LIttle Penny" who is coming to us From China...
So I put a Panda Bear for China on one side and The Teddy Bear with the Red-White and Blue Blankie on the other side !!!
