I LOVE this sweater.. It has to be the cutest little baby sweater I have made in a long time... After following the directions the pattern became clearer as to what was happening.. The pattern is from an old Bernat Baby Book from 1954.. As it happened I was using a Bernat Baby Yarn with a # 3 needle for this sweater...
I wish you could see and feel this Very Dainty Sweater as the photo really does not do it justice... It feels so Light and Fluffy!!! :)

This is the beginning of a baby sweater that I have started... I know.. I know.. I said the same thing... "What the heck".....
I started with casting on 36 stitches with this Very Fine baby Yarn.. Then I have to make 36 of these ( bubble like) rows which consist of 6 rows of knit stitch on each side of the fabric.. So that will be 216 rows.. hummmm Are you still with me here???
IN this photo I still have 9 more rows of 6 to do....
Tonight I get to do Step 2 of this adorable sweater ( That is if I do it correctly) :)
This is a pattern from a really old baby book and I just thought it was so cute that I had to make one...
I'll post more pictures as I go along...

This is The Blue Sky Alpaca Baby Dress...
It is so cute and dainty looking for a Baby Girl...
I used Pingouin Corrida 3 Cotton yarn which is a fingering weight. I made a 6-12 month size and the size works out pretty much on the mark .I did do mine about an inch longer than suggested just because I wanted to.. :)

OK.. No I'm on to the second project for 2010....
What is everyone planning on their list to make for this year? I know my list is pretty full already...
