This cake is Going Out To Dinner along with the Hand Towel that I made..

I never made this cake before so I sure hope it tastes good...
I thought it was an interesting way to make a cake so I am "testing" it out on My Friends for Dinner :)
Its called a DUMP CAKE... Because you just DUMP all the ingredients into the pan and BAKE :)........... Now What could be easier???
If you would like to try it I'm writing the recipe below....or maybe you want to wait until after it has been " Tested " ??? :)

It looks to me like it will need some Whipped Cream on each serving...YUM!!!

1 Can of Fruit Pie Filling ( cheery, strawberry or blueberry)
1 large box of yellow cake mix
1 stick og margarine or butter
1/4 cup of chopped nuts
1 can of crushed pineapple..undrained
Preheat oven to 400
Grease bottom of 13x9 inch sheet cake pan. DUMP in fruit pie filling.
DUMP in pineapple, undrained.
DUMP in cake mix (DRY)
Absolutely NO MIXING ALLOWED !!!!
Cut butter into pats and dot on top of cake mix...
Bake in Oven 45 minutes... Sprinkle with chopped nuts and bake another 10-15 minutes longer!!!
THATS it FOLKS!!!!

Can you see the Beads ?????
Its so hard to show them in a photo but they are all over the front and back in each seed stitch pattern...

The making of my sweater has come to a hault because I have almost run out of yarn :( Oh I just knew it would happen and I have a sleeve left to do... It will have to continue in June when I am back in New York and can get another skein of that yarn !!!!
Anyway... Because I did not " SWATCH" ugh!!!! This sweater which started out for my 3 year old GD and will now be for my 7 year old GD... Its a good thing I have Grandchildren in all different sizes ... !!

Walking on The Beach today we came across this Big Largerhead Turtle that washed ashore....The poor thing was not alive anymore ... I called the Town to report it so they will be sending someone up from Ocean World to check it out and determine what happened to it...

I got anxious about not completing anything in a while due to the fact that there are so many "needles" clicking around here....
So I made a hand towel... If you can see in the photo ..It is a Butterfly :) In a Bright Spring Color!!!
The pattern is from Rachael's Knitting.. designed by Rachael who has many terrific cloth designs...
It came out larger than my usual cloths so I added the top to make it into a hand towel..
We will be going to dinner at Friends tomorrow night so I will bring this for her and maybe a nice " dessert" Yummy!!!

Ok So What is this pile of yarn you ask????

Remember This Sweater??? I made it for The Knitting Olympics???
Well.. I never wear it and it was too big now so when I found it in my closet last week after I finally cleaned out my clothes...
I said... Its time to unravel this thing and make something for one of My Grandchildren...
I LOVE the yarn and its a shame to waste it.. It is Sirdar Chunky in a Soft Cotton...
So now its ready to become a Different sweater..
Thank Goodness for my Ball Winder :)
So.. I'll let you know what I decide on.....

I have no completed projects to post today...
Just Popping in to let you know I am not slacking off tho.....
I have been working on three things this week... I did a little on my beaded sweater and a little on my Striped Blankie and alot on my Embroidered Blankie.... I was almost finished embroidering the girls on it when I decided it needed two more girls in the spaces that were left... So the work continues !!!!
But I did find the perfect fabrics today for the border and the binding !!!
I'm really anxious to see it finished.... I hope it lives up to my expectations !!! :)
So I'm off to the couch to have my milk and cookie and do some needlework !!!!
Photos coming soon.. I hope !!!
I feel like I am slowing down when I don't have a completed project but I guess its not How Fast we do them... Its the Journey while making them and waiting for the finish, Right?

These are two New Projects that I have started... :) .. Oh Yes... I just LOVE to " Start" new projects... Its the "finishing" that slows me down !!!
Anyway... The top one does not show its pretty pale minty color and the yarn is soft as butter... I bought it when I was in NY and I hope I have enough to do this whole sweater.. If not..I'll get some when I go back to NY...You can't see in the photo but in the middle of each seed design on the sweater there is a bead that I knitted in... It looks real pretty "in person" .......
The pattern is from a Debbie Bliss Book and I am using # 3 needles...
As it turns out both projects are being done in # 3 needles... Funny because I hardly ever use #3 and here I choose two things with the same small needle... Go Figure, huh ????
The Lime Green is a cotton top which is being done in DMC cotton.. Its turning out nice and soft also... And we do LOVE "soft", right !!!
Now.. Who are they for??? I guess I will see what size they are when I get done... I know they will fit one of my Grandaughters :)
